Karl Taylor offers tutorials and critiques for members of his educational branch. I submitted an image in hope that it may get picked for the live session. One hour into the show, I still didn’t hear my name so I thought it was highly unlikely my submission made it on. Just towards the end, as I was hovering over the close video button, I heard; "Next up, Victoria Bowers”. My heart landed in my throat and there it was, my little portrait, being examined by my hero.
“A lovely soft portrait, there’s a slight sparkle in the eyes...That’s a clever combination of lighting and it works well. I also love the flowers, they are really well composed...It almost looks like a beautiful painting. I think it’s a beautiful portrait, lovely lighting of a beautiful young girl. Very well done on that one."
