World Photography Day

Every year, the 19th of August is celebrated all over the world as World Photography Day. This also happens to be my birthday.

I booked today off work in hope of taking an adventure outside with my camera. When I awoke, I could hear the raindrops falling on the awning down below. I grabbed my phone, checked the weather and to no surprise, 100% rainfall forecast for the entire day.

Instead I gathered my beloved guinea pigs and a very old Kodak film camera that belonged to my deceased father-in-law. My husband treasures this so I was very lucky to be able to use it as a prop.

So here we have it, Bruce and Truffles learning the trade on World Photography Day. They will be joining me for Birthday celebration later.
